MXG-250 Goggle - Hoonigan x Pastrana
If there’s a limit out there, Travis Pastrana doesn’t recognize it. Whether that’s landing the first double backflip, winning championships on two and four wheels, setting world-record jump distances, catching a wicked slide in NASCAR, base jumping out of hotel windows, or sending it over a jump at 150mph, Pastrana has made a career out of innovating across multiple motorsports disciplines and making the impossible, possible. It only made sense that his signature MXG-250 carry that same energy, and make history as the first pair of goggles to wear a Hoonigan Gymkhana livery, taken straight from the Brataroo.
These MXG-250 were supposed to be worn by Travis Pastrana throughout the film, but due to some shipping carrier mistakes, that never happened. Instead, they arrived 1 day late. Having already started filming for Gymkhana, You can’t just change goggles, so Scotto and team got creative and ended up having a Kangaroo wear them while riding a Segway. And much like the filming, they’re late for release too! Better late than never.
With the MXG-250 you get 2mm thick optically clear, impact resistant injected lens (Lens = 14% VLT Black), Interior anti-fog coated lenses, triple layer foam for max comfort + sweat absorption, an XL 50mm wide Strap with bold branding, and a RAM-JET forward facing vent system for moisture control. Last but not least the goggles feature triple post tear off support for standard single layer tear offs or a Racing Optics® 7 Layer Laminated stack.
Updates for 2025 include denser perimeter foam to cut down on dust and dual silicone adhesive stripes on the strap.
